Rents
Sturgeon Foundation's rents are RGI (Rent Geared to Income) calculated as follows:
Independent Living - Self-contained Suites
Rent is based on 30% of each tenant's total income (Line 150 of Income Tax Return - Notice of Assessment) plus the cost of electricity. Telephone, cable TV and parking fees are the tenant's responsibility, as required. Heat and water are included in rent. Rent is set annually with a minimum and maximum rent amount established.

Supportive Living - Lodges
Rent is based on 30% of each resident's total income (Line 150 of Income Tax Return - Notice of Assessment) plus a mandatory "service package" fee (includes services as listed below) as established by the Sturgeon Foundation's Board of Directors. The Foundation sets an annual rent structure which specifies the minimum and maximum monthly rents in the lodges.

Rent Includes
- Accommodation (furnished room)
- All meals and snacks
- Weekly light housekeeping, linen and towel service
- Recreation programs
- Emergency pull cord
- Use of resident laundry room for personal laundry
- Utilities (excluding cable and telephone)
- Maintenance of room and grounds
- Caring and friendly employees on duty 24 hours
Not Included (additional nominal fees charged)
