North Ridge Lodge was officially opened in 1992. It is located in the beautiful City of St. Albert just north of Edmonton. It is close to the Sturgeon Hospital which provides 24 hour emergency services and a City bus stop is located near the lodge with taxis readily accessible.

North Ridge Lodge has 45 spacious lodge units consisting of a 315 square foot bed/sitting area with a separate full bathroom. Residents may choose to bring their own furniture or use the lodge furniture provided. There are emergency call systems in each unit and the lodge has caring and friendly employees on duty 24 hours per day.

The lodge offers a spacious common area with games equipment, attractive lounges throughout the lodge, craft room, library, chapel, residents' laundry room, hair salon, central dining area, and computers available for the residents' use. The lodge is surrounded by beautiful landscaped grounds.

A dedicated and qualified Program Coordinator organizes various activities, entertainment, social events, trips, exercise, crafts, games, and special functions. A scheduled Handi-bus service to St. Albert Centre and other shopping facilities is provided. A variety of community services are available on-site by service providers.

North Ridge Lodge is a non-smoking facility and smoking is only allowed in the designated smoking lounge available in the lodge.
