Chateau Mission Court was officially opened in 1980 and renovated in 1999. It is located within walking distance to downtown amenities of St. Albert and has access to the paved river valley walking paths. It is close to the Sturgeon Hospital which provides 24 hour emergency services. Taxis and City buses are readily available.
Chateau Mission Court has 42 lodge units which are studios with a separate full bathroom. The units are fully furnished or residents may choose to bring their own furniture. There are emergency call systems in each unit and the lodge has caring and friendly employees on duty 24 hours per day. The lodge also has a secure entry intercom system.
The lodge offers a spacious common area with a fireplace, games room, attractive lounges throughout the facility, Jacuzzi bath assist room, library, craft room, resident laundry room, hair salon, central dining area and a computer available for the residents use. There is a beautifully landscaped yard with two inside courtyards for the resident's enjoyment
A dedicated and qualified Program Coordinator organizes various activities, entertainment, social events, trips, exercise, crafts, games, and special functions. Scheduled transportation to shopping areas is provided and a variety of community services are available on-site by service providers.
Chateau Mission Court is a non-smoking facility and smoking is only allowed in the designated smoking lounge available in the lodge.
